PDD (Post Dial Delay): The amount of time before a call starts to ring.
LCR (Least Cost Routing): The logic to route calls according to lowest cost.
QoS (Quality of Service): The logic to route according to ASR, ACD and PDD.
CLI (Caller Line Identification): Denotes a Route that has Caller ID.
Direct: Denotes a Route connects directly to a Destination, usually this indicated a higher quality Route.
Route: In CarrierCloud this refers to a group of Dial Codes from a single Destination that shares Price, Billing, Codecs and Quality statistics.
Rate Sheet: In CarrierCloud this is a Seller’s Spreadsheet with all the Route details that has been uploaded to CarrierCloud.
Gateway: In CarrierCloud this is the registration of your Buyer/Seller IP. Buyer Gateways are assigned to a single Dial Plan. Seller Gateways are assigned to a single Rate Sheet.
Dial Plan: In CarrierCloud this is the LCR/QoS logic to Route traffic. Dial Plans contain the selected Rate Sheets to use in routing, and selected Regions to route to.
