Quick Definitions:

Route: In CarrierCloud this refers to a group of Dial Codes from a single Destination that shares Price, Billing, Codecs and Quality statistics.

Rate Sheet: In CarrierCloud this is a Seller’s Spreadsheet with all the Route details that has been uploaded to CarrierCloud.

Rate Sheet Subscription: A Rate Sheet Subscription is created when a Buyer accepts a Rate Sheet and wants to send traffic to it. The Rate Sheet Subscription contains the Buyer's sending IP and Tech Prefix for routing to the accepted Rate Sheet.

Complex Subscription: A Rate Sheet Subscription that contains multiple Rate Sheets with Priority(Ordered) or LCR routing.

Private Room: A Private Room is password protected private Rate Sheet with a publicly hidden URL. A Seller can choose to make a Private Room when the Rate Sheet is uploaded.

Sending IP: The IP address a Buyer is sending traffic from.

Tech Prefix: An optional Prefix a Buyer/Seller includes on the calls going from/to their switch. Used to properly route traffic on the same IP.

ASR (Average Seizure Ratio): The percentage of calls that actually connect.

ACD (Average Call Duration): The average time a connected call stays connected.

PDD (Post Dial Delay): The amount of time before a call starts to ring.

LCR (Least Cost Routing): The logic to route calls according to lowest cost.

QoS (Quality of Service): The logic to route according to ASR, ACD and PDD.

CLI (Caller Line Identification): Denotes that a Route that has Caller ID.

Direct: Denotes that a Route connects directly to a Destination, usually this indicated a higher quality Route.
