How do I start selling Routes?
First Login, or Sign Up if you do not have an account.
You will need Microsoft Silverlight to use the Rate Sheet Upload Wizard, get it here.
To start selling Routes on CarrierCloud just upload your Rate Sheet with CarrierCloud's easy to use Rate Sheet Upload Wizard.
It is important to remember that once a Rate Sheet is added to your CarrierCloud account, then activated with your IP,
that newly uploaded Rate Sheet is live and buyer's can start sending traffic immediately!
Go to the Rate Sheets listed for Sale page; find it on your Account Dashboard or the Menu in the 'Seller' tab.
Click the link Upload a new Rate Sheet from a file to start the Rate Sheet Upload Wizard.

Does a Rate Sheet file need to be in a specific format when I upload it?
CarrierCloud's Rate Sheet Upload Wizard was designed to deal with the nonstandardized formats of Rate Sheets between providers.
Despite the power and flexiblility of the Upload Wizard, there are some Rate Sheet format general guidlines you must follow in order to accurately upload a Rate Sheet.
CarrierCloud Rate Sheet Column Headers
To give you an idea of how a properly formated Rate Sheet should look, click here for a spreadsheet template.
Below is a complete list of CarrierCloud column headers that you can map you Rate Sheet column headers to:
Ignored - For columns you want CarrierCloud to ignore
Region* - The Region/Country name, example: Canada
Destination* - The Destination name, example: Yukon Territory
DialCodePrefix* - The Dial Code, same as DialCode below - only one is required, example: 1204
DialCode* - The Dial Code, same as DialCodePrefix above - only one is required, example: 1204
StartDate - The date the Route will become active, examples: dd/MM/yyy, dd/MM, MM/dd/yyy, MM/dd or yyyy/MM/dd
EndDate - The date the Route will become expire, examples: dd/MM/yyy, dd/MM, MM/dd/yyy, MM/dd or yyyy/MM/dd
Price* - The price, example: $0.0123
Subsequent_Increment - Subsequent Billing Increment, example: 20
Minimum_Increment - Minimum Billing Increment, example: 60
MinSubIncrement - Minimum/Subsequent Billing Increment, example: 20/60
Comments - Details on the Route and for marking CLI and Direct, example: Direct route with CLI
Capacity - Maximum number of Channels example: 12,000
Codecs - Used to indicate the available Codecs separated by commas,
     example: G711, G729, G723.1, G726, G722, GSM, iLBC, Speex
Deleted - Indicated by 'Deleted' or 'D' in each cell.
     When uploading a new Rate Sheet, marked rows will be ignored.
     When replacing an existing Rate Sheet, marked rows will be deleted. example: 'Deleted' or 'D'
Cli - Used to indicate CLI example: 'Yes' or 'Y'
Direct - Used to indicate Direct example: 'Yes' or 'Y'

Setting CLI and Direct
Marking a Route as CLI or Direct can be done in 3 ways:
- In the Rate Sheet File: Adding Columns named “CLI” and “Direct” then indicating with 'Yes' or 'Y' in each cell.
- In the Rate Sheet File: Adding the text “CLI” (to indicate CLI) and “Direct” or “In-Country” (to indicate Direct) to the "Destination" or "Comments" column.
- In the Rate Sheet Upload Wizard: On Step 5: Rate Sheet File Options you can set CLI or Direct for the entire Rate Sheet.
Setting Codecs
Setting a Route's Codecs can be done in 2 ways:
- In the Rate Sheet File: Adding Columns named Codecs then the codec names separated by a comma.
- In the Rate Sheet Upload Wizard: On Step 5: Rate Sheet File Options you can set the Codecs for the entire Rate Sheet.

How do I provision my switch or gateway?
It is really very simple and easy to setup or change your switch connection to CarrierCloud.
CarrierCloud's IP: 66.241.108.21 is where CarrierCloud will send/receive calls to/from you.
As a Seller you will manage the IPs and Tech Prefixes for your uploaded Rate Sheets on the 'My Rate Sheet For Sale' page.
Note that if your system or traffic requires any Tech Prefix you will need to also include that information as part of the online configuration.

How do I make a Rate Sheet private?

How can I setup a Private Room?
Setting up a Private Room must be done on Step 5 of the Rate Sheet Upload Wizard Upload Wizard, when you first upload your Rate Sheet file.
Private Rooms must have a Buy password that the Buyer needs to enter in order to subscribe to your Rate Sheet.
Optionally, a View password requires Buyers to enter a password in order to view your Private Room.
After you have set up a Private Room, you can find the Private Room URL,
view/remove current Subscribers and change/remove passwords on the 'My Rate Sheet For Sale' page.

How does CarrierCloud authenticate calls coming from your equipment?
CarrierCloud uses IP based authentication, with an optional Tech Prefix.
As a Seller you will manage the IPs and Tech Prefixes for your uploaded Rate Sheets on the 'My Rate Sheet For Sale' page.

Which codecs does CarrierCloud support?
All codecs are supported but depend on the codecs that the route vendor supports for that route. Codecs supported on each route are listed in the route information.
CarrierCloud doesn’t handle the media which is why we can help ensure the highest voice quality worldwide.

Is there a delay between making changes on the site and routing calls?
Changes to all information, including Dial Plans, Routes, Rate Sheets, etc. can be delayed a little bit before becoming "live" on the switching equipment.
Usually this takes about 5 seconds but, in exceptional circumstances, it may take up to a minute.

What are the costs for Sellers? (none)
CarrierCloud is FREE for Sellers. As a Seller, simply upload your Rate Sheets with the prices that you want to receive.
You will receive exactly that price and at the billing increment specified when you uploaded the Rate Sheet.
CarrierCloud adds a small amount per-minute to cover costs of guaranteed payment assurance, escrow expense, switching, and, marketing and promotion.

How do Sellers get paid?
After every call, Sellers accrue earnings into their CarrierCloud funds account. Sellers can withdraw funds
at any time. Withdrawals are handled on a same-day basis and sent to the Seller’s bank account by wire transfer
or sent by PayPal into the Seller’s PayPal account.

How often can Sellers get paid?
Sellers can withdraw funds at any time. See FAQ #8, above.

How do I get traffic, CDR or funds reports?
Real-time reports on traffic, earnings and account funds are available online, 24/7/365.
Check your 'Account Dashboard' to find the Reports.

When does a Seller see the revenue into the Seller’s Funds account?
The Seller’s per-call revenue is posted to the funds account after each call is completed.
Sort of like a CDR with the per-call earnings for that call. All call activity and funds management happens in real-time.
The call revenue is posted immediately and Sellers can withdraw funds on a daily basis, if and as requested.
Sellers can request a funds transfer into their company bank account at any time and even several times a day.
A Seller simply needs to go online to CarrierCloud and initiate a wire transfer to the Seller’s bank account
that is on record.
